Area Information: Mexico Beach stores and restaurants are less than a one minute walk. Start your day enjoying a specialty coffee and delicious breakfast at Caribbean Coffee, enjoy lunch at the ever-popular Mango Marleys, do some shopping in the unique, locally owned shops, and take some time to pamper yourself at the White Sands Salon & Boutique.

Approximately 500 feet away from this coastal home, you’ll find yourself at the pristine blue water of the Gulf of Mexico with miles and miles of sugar white sand. Whether you enjoy combing the beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sun-bathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you’ll spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. In nearby Port St. Joe, venture out to enjoy shopping, galleries, entertainment, and restaurants. Less than five minutes away is St Joe Beach where pets and bonfires are welcome! For the fishing enthusiast, book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner.

Parking: One vehicle may be parked in the carport. A second vehicle may be parked right in front of the carport.

Pet Friendly: This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately.

Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent.

Beach Gear: Some of our properties have beach gear onsite (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.); however, there is no guarantee as these items come and go throughout the year.

Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.

Security cameras: N/A

Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.

Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.

Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested.

Cancellation Policy: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.

Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.

Area construction disclaimer: Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn’t begun since our photos were taken.

Loved the location. No high risers. Easy walking distance. Didn’t have to cross the main road. So no dealing with crossing traffic. Wish there was a pool but it was good. Loved having the outdoor shower and a full size washer and dryer. The half bath in the main floor was well planned out.

The location, decor and beach supplies are as described. We love the short walk to the beach, the outdoor shower and the wagon to tote chairs, towels and food to the beach. We could walk or drive to get food, shop and sight see. We love that we could be in Port St. Joe in minutes as well as other quaint beach towns. The kitchen was not what I am familiar with in VRBO rentals. My family has been renting for over 25 years and I have not experienced a rental with no bare minimum supplies. I have found salt, pepper, coffee, coffee pot, and foils to be provided. We will visit again and recommend Sunshine Rentals to friends and family. 4/11/2024 at 1:24 PM

This property is clean and perfect location. We didn’t use the beach but it is a short walk and directly across the street from Mango Marleys. We kept our boat at the Mexico beach public boat slips which is only a 2 minute drive from this property. Highly recommend!

This was our first stay in Mexico Beach and we had a wonderful time. The property was as described. It was tastefully decorated, a short walk to the beach and very comfortable. There was also several places to eat within walking distance. We were provided plenty of towels and the kitchen was sufficiently stalked. We will be back!

The property was immaculate and while the property wasn't directly on the beach, it was a very short walk right down the street. There is a restaurant directly across the highway and plenty of other restaurants and groceries within a 20 minute drive. The beach was clean and not crowded at all. The booking and arrival process was as easy as it gets. I give it a five star review. The only complaint is that there was a power cord missing to one of the televisions, but then again who checks for those when cleaning, or is at the beach to watch tv? Wonderful vacation property!

Great place to relax. Short walk over to Mango Marley's for drinks and dinner when you just don't feel like cooking, and only steps from Beach Access. We used it as a launching point to play tacky tourist and visit Port St. Joe, PC, and Apalachicola. It is in a very tight "old school" beach community, so you don't have a lot of space to sprawl out. Yet, we'd go back again!

Great location on beachside of the main road which was very nice to not have to cross. Literally walk to the sand in less than two minutes. Nice quiet beach. Loved the use of the stand up paddle board and ocean kayak. Very clean and nicely decorated home.

This was our first time to Mexico Beach. We loved every minute. Yes, they are rebuilding after Hurricane Michael but things are open and the beach is beautiful. The first few days the water was murky due to seaweed but it cleared up and turned that clear blue that is all over the panhandle. The house was perfect and just as pictured. Everything was new and the location to the beach can’t be beat. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Having beach chairs, umbrella and wagon provided was convenient and much appreciated! I would recommend Shore beats work to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!
