Looking to kick back, unwind and relax in the laid-back atmosphere of Mexico Beach while enjoying miles and miles of sugary white sand and pristine water? Serenity on Sea Street is the perfect place to bring family or friends and explore the Forgotten Coast. Walking distance from the beach, a large spacious living room and kitchen area, and an oversized screened-in patio overlooking the fenced-in backyard, make this the ideal location for an awesome vacation! With the large driveway, there is even room to park the boat! Enjoy your evenings around the firepit w/6 Adirondack chairs plus firewood provided.
Upon entering the newly renovated home, you are greeted with an open-concept living area with an oversized sectional sofa, a beautiful decorative fireplace, and a 65-inch smart tv. The open kitchen area has new appliances, a dual pod/drip coffee pot, beverage refrigerator, and plenty of counter space on the oversized island with a prep sink, and seating for 4. The dining area seats 6 at the unique corner table. From the kitchen, you can access the laundry room with a washer/dryer, half bath, and access to the screened-in porch. From the living area, you have access to the shaded, screened-in porch.
The split bedroom concept offers privacy and space for all guests. The private master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a 48-inch smart tv. The en-suite bath offers a large garden tub, standing shower, and double vanity. After a long day in the sun, this is the perfect place to retreat and relax. On the other side of the home, you will find 3 guest bedrooms and a guest bath. The first two guest bedrooms both have comfortable queen-sized beds and 42-inch smart TVs. The third guest bedroom offers two sets of twin over full bunk beds. The guest bath has a shower/tub combo and single vanity.
The beautifully landscaped fenced-in backyard will allow the kids and the furry friends plenty of room to run and play. After a long day at the beach, you can easily rinse off in the outdoor shower and kick back on the screened-in porch with your favorite beverage while grilling the catch of the day. The amazing porch is fully furnished and has a dining table seating 7. This home is set up for the perfect beach vacation, with tons of extras! Redneck golf, ring toss games, bocce ball, giant Jenga, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach cart, and canopy for your use! (Beach chairs, gear etc. are not guaranteed as items come and go throughout the year.)
Mexico Beach stores and restaurants are just a few miles away. Start your day enjoying a specialty coffee and delicious breakfast at Caribbean Coffee, enjoy lunch at the ever-popular Crazy Beach Pizza or Mango Marleys, do some shopping in the unique, locally-owned shops, and take some time to pamper yourself at the White Sands Salon & Boutique.
About 650 feet away from this coastal home, you will find yourself in the pristine blue water of the Gulf of Mexico with miles and miles of sugar-white sand. Whether you enjoy combing the beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you will spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. In nearby Port St. Joe, venture out to enjoy shopping, galleries, entertainment, and restaurants. Less than a five-minute walk is St Joe Beach where pets and bonfires are welcome! For the fishing enthusiast, book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner.

This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $140 will be added to your reservation after you book.
The exterior of this property is secured by video cameras.
When you are ready to venture out, visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops along Reid Avenue, many restaurants, and grocery stores. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles! For an adventure, take a ride to Cape San Blas and visit St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for access to the beach and the bay. It offers natural hiking trails, miles of untouched beaches, and access to launch kayaks or paddle boards. For an amazing experience, you can horseback ride on the beach from Salinas Park. If you are interested in wildlife and natural beauty, plan a trip over to St. Vincent Island by ferry boat for the day. Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. About 35 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! There are so many options to do without crowds or traffic!

This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent.
Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.
Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.
A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.
Monthly rental rates available for the winter season. Please send a message to property manager if you are interested.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.
Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.
Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn’t begun since our photos were taken.

We took a multi family vacation, and this house hit all the marks. Large open concept. The kids enjoyed the board games stocked in the house. Plenty of beds. Plenty of hot water. Very nicely stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels for all guests. The large screened in back deck was wonderful of the evenings. Quick walk to the beach. Close to convenience stores. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking space.The communication with the property manager was always great. They were very responsive and accommodating to a request made before check in which our group definitely appreciated. The house was clean upon arrival. I really don't have anything negative to say about it. We would definitely add to our list of places to stay again.

Beautiful, clean, amazing place to stay. My husband and I took both our mother's ages 82 & 92 and our furbabies for a week. We had everything we needed, including a short walk to the Beach and a great back yard. Hope to go again soon.

We’ve stayed in several rentals in Mexico Beach and this was by far one of the best. Great location as it is walking distance or very short drive to beach. If you have a party of 8-10 and want reasonably priced accommodations, this is the place to stay.

Great location to the beach and beach access! Extremely well stocked kitchen, and nice Webber grill. The house accommodates 9 adults comfortably!! Outdoor shower, screened porch, fenced in yard, large parking area, beach chairs, beach wagon, and rolling cooler made life easier! Host communicates well, very accessible, and accommodating. Highly recommend this spacious, clean, convenient, cozy home!

As the title says, this is seriously the best vacation home I've ever stayed in... and I've stayed in 5 just in the last 3 months. It was amazingly stocked, with just about everything that you need, and more. The rooms are very good sized and extremely homey. There are dressers and clothes hampers (which is not common in airbnbs but incredibly handy). Seriously, this felt like home away from home. We were here for 3 weeks with 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs and didn't have a single complaint. The neighbors were nice, the fenced-in yard was amazing, and the short walk to the beach was the cherry on top. Don't waste another second looking for a place in Mexico Beach, this is the one! We'll be back year after year for sure.

Serenity By The Sea is a great place to rent. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and upscale furnishings and details of the house. We didn't have to bring beach chairs, towels or a cooler. The house had it all and not just your run of the mill beach stuff (e.g., beach chairs were really nice Tommy Bahama). The owners put a lot of effort into furnishing the house. It has a large kitchen island that is perfect for making meals and eating together. The house is two blocks from beautiful Mexico Beach and located in a quiet neighborhood. TVs are in every room with Netflix and Hulu. There aren't many restaurants in the immediate Mexico Beach vicinity and the time change was a little confusing for us planning dinner -- Central to Eastern -- within a few miles of each other. Some restaurants closed on various days of the week, so make sure you call before going and make sure you get the right time zone. Port St. Joe is on Eastern Time so we had to make sure we accounted for that when making dinner plans. We found some restaurants quit taking customers earlier than their closing time. This may be from demand and fewer workers from dealing with Covid. We were turned away from the same restaurant - Shipwreck - twice. (This is not the owner's fault.) We visited Cape San Blas and it's beautiful. We stopped at a small ice cream stand there and enjoyed seeing all the younger families there. We'd never visited Apalachicola or St. George Island and drove over to the area for the day (both are doable in a day). This entire area reminds me of how Florida used to look before some areas became heavily commercialized. There's so much to see and do and I wish we'd had more time. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and rent Serenity By The Sea. I have to say, I thought it may be a trailer from the photos -- it's not. This house could easily accommodate 8-10 people comfortably. You'll be pleasantly surprised by how clean the house is and all the upscale appliances and details it offers. The only thing that would make it better is if the backyard had grass. It's sand and grass now.

We visited in February to get a break from the Cincinnati winter. The house was great, spacious, clean, and a great location. Just a short walk down the street to the beach.
