The Sandy Beach House is a convenient one story living with a tropical, secluded fenced in backyard perfect for your 4 legged furry pets! The Sandy Beach House has so many extras to make your vacation a truly wonderful experience with a beach buggy, beach toys, umbrellas, bikes, cornhole, board games, Pac Man machine, and much more!
Nightly Minimum: 3 night minimum
Property Description: Upon entering the home, you’ll be greeted with an open concept, split floor plan living area with plenty of room to entertain and relax with friends and family. Living area features all new furniture, breakfast bar, dining area, Pac Man game, and a 70” TV. Large sliding door opens up to a private, fenced in backyard. Low maintenance tile floors throughout the home. Queen-sized sleeper sofa available for guests. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the living and dining area and features a breakfast bar. Kitchen is stocked with lots of extras for your stay. Laundry room features a full sized washer and dryer. For your dogs, a dog bed and accessories available to use during your stay.
The spacious master suite features a king-sized bed, extra large walk-in closet, 50” TV, and private bathroom. After a long day in the sun, it’s the perfect place to escape for some quiet, private time. Curl up in the cozy corner chair with a good book and relax….
Separate from the master suite are two more bedrooms for your guests. One bedroom features one bunk bed with a trundle, twin bed, and a 40” TV. The other bedroom features a king-sized bed and 50” TV. A full bathroom is conveniently located between the bedrooms.
Outdoor Amenities: Outdoor shower, fenced in backyard, gas grill, bach porch, covered parking, bikes, beach gear
Area Information: The small beach town of Mexico Beach is known for its excellent fishing, laid-back lifestyle, beautiful white sandy beaches, and emerald green waters. Located just a few short blocks from the beach you can jump on the golf cart, take a stroll, or drive to the Gulf of Mexico where miles of sugary white sand and sparkling water awaits you. For the fishing enthusiast, the public boat ramp is just a few miles away, and don't forget there is parking for your boat.
Visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops and restaurants along Reid Avenue. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles!
Parking: 2 parking spots are available
Pet Friendly: This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $140 will be added to your reservation after you book.)
Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent.
Beach Gear: Some of our properties have beach gear onsite (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.); however, there is no guarantee as these items come and go throughout the year.
Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old
Security cameras: Exterior cameras present at this location
Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.
Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.
Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested.
Cancellation Policy: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.
Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.
Area construction disclaimer: Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn’t begun since our photos were taken.

Really love the property. House was clean well-kept, Didn’t have steps to climb up and down which is really nice. First time we’ve ever been to Mexico beach we loved it. The beach was perfect. Hopefully this property will be available next year when we decide to go.

Mexico Beach is beautiful, this was our first time. The house was perfect, size, amenities and location. We only used the car 3 times during the whole week (Aldi, Caverns, St Joe). We walked or biked everywhere else. The grill was used frequently, and all the appliances are top-notch, the dishwasher runs silent! Overall, the house is super clean with everything you need, just add food and BYOB.

Talk about a Sandy Beach House! Perfect space for 10 people and perfect distance to the beach. Beautiful and peaceful area. Perfect for making good memories of the Beach and safe bike riding area. We had a great time. The necessities (coffee and pizza) were a 2 minute walk, the very pretty beach was also a 2 minute walk, and our puppy enjoyed the fenced in backyard. Our kids loved having their own bedrooms. We’ll be happy to return!

We had a wonderful time. Mexico Beach was perfect & the other areas close by were too. The house was very beautiful. The fenced yard was a great feature. Our dogs loved it! There were a couple of issues though. The beds had sleeping impressioins & were very uncomfortable, worn out. Also the sofa by the electrical plug was quite saggy being uncomfortable as well. We had issues with the tv's & remotes too.... It would be nice to have a print out of how all the tv's & remotes work. Not all of us are smart TV saavy. Other than those issues, we thouorghly enjoyed our stay & hope to be back.

Only thing is the ice machine on the counter started making a funny noise. I turned it off and emptied it I also reached out to the customer service number but no response from anyone. This happened on Saturday towards the end of our trip so it wasn’t a big issue.

The house was awesome! Everything was better than expected, super clean and as promised, within walking distance of the beach. The outdoor shower was amazing (bugging my husband to build one for us now ). There was enough supplies to get us through the first few days until we could get to the store. We had an amazing time and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Nice ground level home one block off the beach but close walk. (No stairs!) Very clean and nicely decorated for a beach vacation. Several TVs. Outside hose and shower to rinse salt and sand off. Plenty of beach space as beach access is only homes and no public parking or multi-family structures. House is pet friendly but pets are not allowed on the beach.

The house was awesome and in a great location. Fully furnished and then some. Plenty of beach toys and a wagon for our use. Truly just a few minutes walk from the beach or a block away from the coffee shop and shopping. We would definitely stay again! Amy is a super host for sure

This place was amazing. The house was set up great. Lots of dishware, glasses pots and pans in the kitchen. Open concept house. Bedrooms far enough apart for privacy. Counter top Ice maker a plus. The yard was fenced which was a big plus with our dog. The beach was close, and items for the beach were in the shed. Thanks for the great time !!!

Wish I had known that we could not take the dog to the beach with us, we had to drive to the county line where dogs were allowed on the beach.

We loved this house! It was immaculate, perfectly appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and nicely decorated. Plus it is welcoming to dogs, and our dog loved the beds and other pet amenities that were provided. It's a great home base for a short walk to the beautiful Mexico City beach, or for day trips to Port St. Joe and all the other Gulf County destinations. This was our first time to this area and we hope to be back soon.

Perfect home for our dogs and little kids. The backyard is great for letting the dogs run around, and even the kids! The close proximity to the beach and coffee shop was really nice, and made it possible to walk where we needed to go. Would definitely stay again. But be warned, there are black bears in this area. We didn’t see any, but the morning we checked out, it was quite evident that one had gotten into our trash can. Be mindful!

Wonderful house on a quiet street with permanent quiet neighbors we never saw or heard. Nice privacy fence in the back. the outdoor shower was great to rinse prior to going in the house. I loved the keyless entry, nice not to have to remember a key. one block from the beach, quiet beach with very few people. Far from most of the things going on, it's about an hour from Panama City Beach. Originally we had planned to spend most of our time at the beach and it didn't matter but it rained the whole dang week so we ended up driving a LOT to get to things to do. Still worth it though and would have been perfect if the weather cooperated! Would definitely stay again. Awesome stocked kitchen with a blender, waffle maker, crock pot, nice knives to cook with. Shed with a beach wagon, lots of beach toys, floats, tons of beach chairs, umbrellas, two bikes.

Comfy bed in Master (slept so soundly) and peaceful location made this a great place to stay when we had to make an unexpected trip home. Kitchen is fully equipped, fenced backyard is wonderful for furry fam members, large tv in living room is great for end of day chill time...and the location is fantastic, just a quick 5 minute walk over to the beach (if that long). Make sure to grab fish dip (on Thursdays) from The Shell Shack (walking distance), coffee from Caribbean Coffee (walking distance), a burger from Mango Marley's (walking distance) , and pizza from Crazy Pizza (walking distance). Def on our list for future trips - hopefully the next one is just for a vacation and not for family medical emergencies!

The house was great. Super clean. Very comfortable. We had 2 adults, 2 kids, and a dog. It was great for us. It was super clean, well stocked and the back yard was huge. There were TVs in every room and the master bed had a huge closet (easily big enough for a pack and play). While you have to cross over the main road to get to the beach, we didn’t experience enough traffic to make it a big deal. There was plenty of beach gear and tons of plates, bowls, cups, and other kitchen gear. The window coverings are adequate but not dark so just a heads up for light sensitive sleepers.

The kitchen is beyond fully stocked with absolutely anything anyone could need. The house was very clean and we absolutely loved the layout. We have 2 small children and a dog and brought the in laws with us and this house was perfect for us. The back yard was large enough for everyone to enjoy when we weren't down at the beach or out on a walk. The area is beautiful and quiet we perfer the hidden gem places over the big city any day.

We have been vacationing in Mexico Beach since 2003. The beach house we have stayed for many years is now gone. However, we have found our new beach house. This house has everything including Pac-Man. The rooms are perfect. The backyard had plenty of room for our dogs to play. The kitchen has everything you need. The location is just across 98 from the beach and close to the restaurants. We have missed Mexico Beach but have found our new beach home.
