This small, family-friendly community, nestled between St. Joe Beach and Panama City Beach, offers gorgeous sunrises and sunsets filled with long, relaxing days on its beautiful, uncrowded beach.

Located in the heart of town and only a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops, Catch Me by the Sea is the perfect place for a beach get-away. With gulf views, this one-story beautifully decorated 3 bedroom 2 bath duplex is brand new and ready for guests to enjoy. The property also has ample parking, so bring your boat and enjoy some of the Gulf's amazing fishing or set out for a sunset cruise.

Mexico Beach stores and restaurants are less than a one-minute walk. Start your day enjoying a specialty coffee and delicious breakfast at Caribbean Coffee, enjoy lunch at the ever-popular Crazy Beach Pizza, do some shopping in the unique, locally-owned shops next door, and take some time to pamper yourself at the White Sands Salon & Boutique. Round out the day walking a few blocks to Killer Seafood for some Gulf fresh seafood along with their famous Killer Simmerin' Sauce.

Catch me by the Sea offers an open concept, light and airy, living and kitchen area with plenty of room to entertain and relax with friends and family. The spacious master suite features a king-sized bed, a large closet, and a private bathroom. The guest bedrooms are also very roomy. One has a queen-sized bed, and the other has a double bottom bunk and top twin bunk. A full guest bathroom is conveniently located between the two.

Approximately 600 feet away from this coastal home, you'll find yourself in the pristine blue water of the Gulf of Mexico with miles and miles of sugar-white sand. Whether you enjoy combing the beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you'll spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. In nearby Port St. Joe, venture out to enjoy shopping, galleries, entertainment, and restaurants. Less than five minutes away is St Joe Beach where pets and bonfires are welcome! For the fishing enthusiast, launch your boat at the nearby Mexico Beach Marina boat ramp and take in some first-class fishing, or book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner.

Other features include smart TVs in the living room, master bedroom, bunk room, and an outdoor shower.

This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent.

Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.

This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately.

Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.

A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.

Monthly rental rates available for the winter season. Please send a message to property manager if you are interested.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.

Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.

Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn’t begun since our photos were taken.

Clean, updated, beautiful, and homey! It was even prettier in person. Loved the outdoor shower and rocking chairs on the front porch. Colorful shops walking distance (highly recommend Caribbean Coffee- they have amazing coffee and homemade foods!). NOTE: You do have to cross a somewhat busy road to access the beach (as seen in the listing photos). There is not a cross walk. But it was very easy and quick for us to walk all our gear to the beach and make trips up to the house through the day. The part of the beach accessible from the house was not crowded. SO nice! Another thing to NOTE: kitchen is fully stocked with lots of supplies which was helpful. However, be sure to pack toilet paper and all your toiletry essentials. The house manual states you’ll be responsible for any additional paper goods. The washer & dryer did come with a small thing of Tide so you have travel home with clean laundry. Overall, we would definitely stay here again! Great location!

This unit was very modern yet comfortable and homey. The location is great-walking distance to the beach and a couple of eateries. Lots of construction going on and it is good to see Mexico Beach rebuilding after Hurricane Michael. Hope some more restaurants will open up. I will be going back to Mexico Beach and Catch Me By The Sea!

Everything was very clean and well decorated. We enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be returning to Catch Me by the Sea. The location is on point! The only concerns we had was: We discovered on Saturday morning that the coffee pot did not work. Luckily, I am an over packer and I pack extra paper towels, laundry tabs, dish tabs, etc. I would suggest for future guests maybe leaving a few extra of those items. I might also suggest a rug at the door once you come into the house to help with the tracking of sand.

A Great Retreat

This property was a great retreat for our family's beach vacation. The house itself is cozy and inviting. Mexico Beach is a quiet community. The walk to the beach is short (you can glimpse the water from the front porch), with the only impediment being the sometimes busy highway that you have to cross. Once at the beach, there were only a handful of other beach goers, so our time there was quite peaceful. We did day trips to Panama City and to St. Joseph's Peninsula State Park, and there are many other options available within a reasonable driving distance. Keep in mind that Mexico Beach is right on the edge of the time line, so the next closest town, Port St. Joe, is an hour ahead. This makes planning late suppers a little more challenging. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and two other couples rented this place. We really enjoyed our stay. The place is well laid out. We were all comfortable. I brought a boat down as well. There was plenty of parking area to accommodate the trailer. It is also a very short walk to the beach.
